푸켓 격리 호텔 리스트와 가격 그리고 추후 세이프앤실드로 활용될 호텔 (ALSQ PHUKET HOTEL LIST AND PRICE, SAFE AND SEALED)

Alternative Local State Quarantine 라는 명칭의 태국 격리 시스템으로 외국에서 태국으로 입국 시 14일 격리 (실제로는 16일 총 15박) 를 실시하고 검사 후 문제가 없을 시 태국에서 정상적인 활동을 할 수 있는 것으로 줄여서 ALSQ 혹은 ALQ, ASQ 격리 호텔이라고 불리우기도 한다. 현재 태국에서 시행하고자 논의 중인 SAFE AND SEALED 와는 무관한 것으로 태국 관련 사이트에서 간혹 이번에 시행 예정인 세이프앤실드와는 무관하고 추후 연결해서 이용은 가능해보인다. 이번에 발표가 난것은 방콕이 아닌 지방 격리 호텔이 발표된 것이 의미가 있는 것이고, 세이프앤실드는 해변과 붙은 격리 호텔을 지정해 보다 조금은 여유가 있는 여행같은 격리를 할 수 있다는 점인데 푸켓 등의 지역민들은 찬성하지만 태국 전체적으로는 아직 외국인의 유입을 반대하고 있다. 

현재 시행되고 있는 ALSQ 와 10월 혹은 11월에 시행될 Safe and Sealed는 크게 두가지 다른점이 있고 격리라는 점은 동일하다. 첫째 호텔 전용 해변 및 부대시설 이용이 가능해 격리보다 휴가로 느낄 수 있도록 여유롭다는 점이다. 두번째는 지금은 정식 기존 체류 비자가 있는 이들이 대상이였다면 세이프앤실드는 관광객이 대상이라는 점이다. 

결국은 지금 방콕과 푸켓, 파타야, 부리람 등에 시행되어지고 있는 호텔 격리 시스템을 확대해 철저한 코로나 유입을 막고 침체에 빠진 관광업을 조금씩 살리는 역할을 기대한다고 볼 수 있다. 엄청난 마이너스를 보고 있는 타이항공이 11월 푸켓 정기편 등을 준비하고 있다는 뉴스가 발표되었다. 아마 세이프앤실드에 맞춰준비를 하고 있는 것으로 보인다. 또한 이렇게 고가 호텔 및 소비력이 있는 관광객을 먼저 받고 문제가 없으면 점차 확대할 것으로 예상된다. 

한국 코로나 3단계 이야기 처럼 태국은 애초에 백화점, 음식점 등을 닫고 셧다운과 국경을 닫아 내외부적으로 차단을 하고 이제 정상 생활을 하고 있지만 경기침체 등의 이유로 극소수의 인원으로 인공호흡기를 달고 문제가 없음이 증명이 된다면 점차 확대할 것으로 보인다. 불만이 생기더라도 최대한 막고 제한한 뒤에 가진 환경을 충분히 이용 하면서 극복하려는 점이 긍정적으로 다가온다.
